How to choose a flexible connector
We list G.I flexible connectors in Dubai in two forms. The union type comes from ½" to 3" for screwed pipework. The flanged (F/T) type comes in CL150 and PN16 drilling from 1" to 16".
A flexible connector takes up vibration, small movement and minor misalignment, which is why it goes on pump suction and discharge, chillers and other equipment connections. Use the union type on small screwed lines and the flanged type on larger lines, and match the drilling (CL150 or PN16) to your flanges. Support the pipe on both sides; the connector is not meant to carry pipe weight or fix a large misalignment.

Can a flexible connector correct a large misalignment?
No. It takes vibration and small movement. Correct a large misalignment in the pipework first.
