How to choose GI pipe and fittings
G.I pipe is listed in SCH40, SCH80, class B and class C from ½" to 6". G.I fittings run from ¼" to 6": 45° and 90° elbows, street elbows, equal tees, sockets, unions, crosses, end caps, plugs, hex nipples and king nipples, plus reducing elbows, reducing tees, reducing sockets, reducing bushes and reducing hex nipples from ⅜" × ¼" to 6" × 4". We also list G.I long nipples from ¼" to 4" in lengths of 3" to 12", and G.I hose menders from ½" to 6".
The galvanised finish protects the fittings from rust on water and air lines. Check whether the existing pipework is BSP or NPT before you order, because the two do not seal reliably together, and fit a union wherever the line has to come apart.

Can you thread GI pipe?
Yes, we offer pipe threading at our Al Quoz counter. Tell us the thread type (BSP or NPT) when you send your list.
